Gull Drive-In fans,
For several reasons it appears that we will not be operating The Gull drive-in theater this summer. This does not mean that we can't set up our own giant, inflatable movie screens somewhere else in the Brainerd Lakes area.
Here is how you can have input on a new location, movie selections and the dates of our appearances in your area. First, click here to become a fan of the Twilight Zone Outdoor Cinema Facebook page. Then explain where we should set up our screen, what movie you would show and why people would come to see it. The most compelling story teller will be awarded a Cinema Under the Stars event with 1000 of their closest friends.

That is aweful news! There is just something about that theater. I would have loved seeing some old movies like the shining!

We are really bummed...the whole family was looking forward to going this summer!! People are trying to do things around the area and where just finding out that the drive-in was open and looking forward to the summer. Last summer word was just getting out about it. Hopefully something will change and they will reopen!!

We wish it was open also. Unfortunately the cost to lease the land was much higher than revenue. We will try to set up our portable movie screen in Brainerd once or twice this summer.
